The French outfit takes on the Russian Premier League side at the Stade Gerland in the first leg, with a place in the lucrative group stages at stake
New boss Remi Garde makes his European managerial debut on Tuesday night with a few injury worries still lingering around the Les Gones camp. Yoann Gourcuff is still sidelined, along with fellow midfielders Ederson and Miralem Pjanic. New signing Bakary Kone, who made his debut in the unconvincing 1-1 draw against Ajaccio on Saturday is unlikely to feature.
Manager Kurban Berdyev has no such concerns regarding injuries and suspensions as the club gear up for the first ever tie against French opposition. New signing Nelson Valdez isn't in the team line-up. Salvatore Bocchetti and Turkish midfielder Gokdeniz Karadeniz are sure to be ones to watch as the Russian side look to make it to Champions League group stages for the third straight year.
