Real Madrid and Galatasaray will compete in the Trofeo Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, August 24. The Bernabeu Trophy match is played in honor of longtime president of Real Madrid Santiago Bernebeau and is used to showcase a lot the young talent and new additions to the Madrid roster.

The tournament has taken place every year since 1979 and used to feature four teams. The tournament has now turned into just one match since 1987. This is the first year that Galatasaray has participated in the match.

Galatasaray is in the midst of revamping their roster by adding some big-name players. They recently acquired Arsenal's Emmanuel Eboue and he will likely get the chance to represent Galatasaray in the match.

Galatasaray also acquired Fernando Muslera from Lazio this offseason. Muslera was the star goalkeeper for the Uruguay national team that won the 2011 Copa America.

Muslera will get the chance to shine with his new club against one of the best clubs in all of Europe in this match.
