Aston Villa vs Blackburn Rovers Preview:

Alex McLeish and Steve Kean search for first victories of the season
The hosts have a full squad to choose from, but Rovers are hit by injuries and will have to give late fitness tests to several key defenders ahead of the match at Villa Park

Aston Villa have no injury concerns, but Alex McLeish may opt to start Marc Albrighton instead of Gabby Agbonlahor, while Barry Bannan is also vying for a starting spot.

Blackburn have not enjoyed a successful summer in the transfer market, but they have received a boost with Radosav Petrovic being granted a work permit, though it is unlikely he will be put straight into the first-team.

An injury crisis meant 19-year-old Grant Hanley had to fill in at centre-back against Wolves. Several key defenders should be returning to the squad, but the likes of Chris Samba (groin), Brett Emerton (hamstring), Ryan Nelsen (knee) and Gael Givet (ill) will have to undergo late fitness tests.
